Devil's Arcade is back!

WebGL saving issue fixed (hopefully)

It took me quite a bit, but Devil's Arcade is now up and running again.

I reworked the entire saving system (again...) and tested the save-file persistence multiple times. I can proudly say: "It works on my machine" ;)

But I suppose we'll only know if it actually works, after I upload the next update, which I am actually about to be working on very soon!

I also changed and added a few things to the game, the changelog won't be posted in a separate devlog, because the purpose of this update isn't to add things to the game, but to fix the saving issue, which it hopefully did.

Bug/Problem fixes:

  • Fixed saving issue where save files wouldn't persist through different updates
  • Fixed bug where the game didn't properly recognize the intro cutscene and played it twice
  • Fixed glitch where the enemy info panel buttons were overflowing
  • Fixed glitch where the alien's preview image was upside-down

 Changes/Additions:

  • Added new enemy "Demonic Tree" as new randomly spawning enemy
