I really liked it!
Was fun to play, bad luck for me always rolling the bad faces of the dice :(, but nice work!!
Yeah, currently it can happen, that you get a dice with only bad events, maybe I'll change that.

froze on new game. after game over clicking on main menu

I know what this is caused by and I'll fix it as soon as possible.
it froze after i skipped all the dialog to get to the game faster

I tried to replicate your issue but the game didn't freeze in any dialogue, once the jam voting phase is over I'll try to fix that.
it froze at the start of the new wave, I lost the first wave by timing out and then skipped all the dialog by clicking as fast as i could while loading up a second, and then it froze at the countdown at the start, hope this helps!
