The future of Tasty Galaxy

Updates? Enhanced version?

Hi everyone! Welcome to a short post about future development plans for Tasty Galaxy.

My previous Game Jam games, Devil's Arcade and Battleground Cleanup have both received a special enhanced version after the original Game Jam ended.

I'll be very straight forward about this and directly say that Tasty Galaxy will not be one of those games. There is no enhanced version planned.

The main reason being, that I know to little about games in this kind of style (e.g. Tasty Planet, Tasty Blue, etc...) and right now, I'd rather focus on other projects, rather than figuring out how to properly optimize and balance this game.

Optimizing in particular is something I kinda dread when thinking of working on an enhanced version, as it is the most performance intensive game I made up to now and it's actually very laggy, even in-editor.

There won't be an enhanced version of this game, at least for now, but, what about updates to this version?

There are actually some smaller things I want to change about this version, and I think it's very fast and easy to do for me!

So, an update/patch for Tasty Galaxy is coming!
