Wave progression, visual effects and settings

Hey everyone! Welcome back to the 6th progress report for the enhanced version of Battleground Cleanup!

I'm happy to say that I got a lot done this week! I completely finished the wave progression, meaning that once you cleaned everything up, the next wave/battle begins. I also added a panel to the game which shows you the current wave you're in.


As you have also read in the header, I worked on some visual effects! Specifically I worked on a short screen flash effect for when the battle is over and the cleanup begins. The flash always takes the color of the team that won the battle to also make the battle feel a little more important.

Settings have also been added, normally I wouldn't mention this in a devlog, because I don't think that this is interesting enough, but in this case there is actually something to talk about. The "Color Grading" setting is special in this game, because a lot of the game's visuals are dependent on it and may seem weird without it. Because of this I added a warning screen whenever the player tries to deactivate color grading.

P.S.: I've set up a Trello board for my tasks regarding Battleground Cleanup, so the mentioned planning problems from the last devlog are slowly being resolved. ^^
