Cut scenes and saving system
Hello and welcome back to the 10th progress report for Battleground Cleanup!
I used this week to add a cut scene system to the game, as you can see on the image below, the CleanerBot from the original version is back in the enhanced version!
There won't be a lot of cut scenes, because the game isn't really story driven, but I think it adds a lot of personality to it.
I also got the saving system up and running, meaning that now stats like your current amount of sparkles, bought shop items and high-score are being saved.
I'm also busy implementing the functionality for all remaining shop items.

I know that this progress report is kind of small and it looks like I barely did anything, the reason for this is that a lot of things I got done are very technical in nature (e.g. performance improvements) and I don't think that it would be worth to talk about something like that here. The progress reports are more about game design rather than programming.
