Rewrite aftermath

Welcome back to the next progress report for the enhanced version of Battleground Cleanup!

The code rewrite I mentioned last devlog has been completed. There is actually almost nothing to talk about, except for the fact that the rewrite didn't have the expected effect on the quality of the codebase. 

All in all, I would say that the general code structure is more or less the same as before. So you could say that about 6 days of development time was pretty much wasted.

Anyways, the entire project is up and running again and I did get to start the development of a new feature.

This is what the overview scene currently looks like:


As you can see, I filled the 3rd gamemode slot with a special mode, which remains secret (at least for now), but the icon hints at something. ^^


I'm tempted to put one of those "The game is hopefully coming out in..." texts at the end of the devlog, but at this point its obvious that there is a lot of dumb stuff going on with this project, the rewrite that improved close to nothing and of course the WebGL saving issue which I still have to fix for both of my games.

So I legitimately don't know when the game is going to get released.

The only thing I can say is: thanks for your continued support and patience.
