Devil's Arcade 2.0.0

Final Update coming September 14th 11am EST

I'm very excited to finally announce this update!

That's right, Devil's Arcade is receiving it's last major content update and development will come to a full close, 2 years and 6 months after release of the first post-game-jam version.

This update will add the 4 remaining game modes, bringing the total up to 16!

You may have noticed this update is labeled as "Devil's Arcade 2.0.0", and thats because it also contains a BUNCH of QoL (Quality of Life), visual and polishing-related improvements.

I developed this game - both the jam and the enhanced version - over 2 years ago, when I had not nearly as much experience in game design and programming. Turning this into version "2.0.0", was mainly decided to facilitate the meaning, that this version has been modified to meet my current game-design standards.

It's no secret, the games codebase is hot garbage at this point, having been dragged through 2 years of sporadic updates and to be honest, I just want to be done with the game and focus all of my attention on a different project, which I'll announce to you in the near future.

(If needed, Devil's Arcade will still receive patches/minor updates.)

Anyways, the final update will be released on September 14th 11am EST, along with a full changelog.
